Directions
From the North: Route 40, East of Uniontown, PA and West of Cumberland, MD.
Turn South on PA 281, then first left in Markleysburg after the Post Office.
Travel about one mile and turn left onto Caney Valley Road at "Camp Sonrise Mountain" sign.
Travel about 2 miles to another Camp Sonrise sign and turn right into camp.
From the South: From Interstate 68, East of Morgantown, WV and West of Cumberland, MD.
Go North on MD Route 42 and about one mile past MD and PA State line.
Turn right onto Caney Valley Road at "Camp Sonrise Mountain" sign.
Travel about 2 miles to another Camp Sonrise sign and turn right into camp.
About Us
Mission
Camp Sonrise Mountain is a non-profit corporation that exists for the purpose of providing facilities and an environment where the gospel of Jesus Christ may be proclaimed and where individuals are encouraged to seek and find greater meaning for their lives in Christ.
History
The camp is part of the Allegheny Region Churches of God (ARC) and was built in1965. The original land was the Maryland portion of the Rodahaver farm donated to the Churches of God for the purposes of building a camp. Many additions have occured over the years to make the camp one of the best facilities in the area.
