There are plenty of opportunities for volunteers here at Camp Sonrise Mountain. One of the many opportunities are work days. Camp Sonrise Mountain has two scheduled works days--one in the spring and one in the fall. The next scheduled work day is this fall on September 18, 2010 beginning at 8:00 AM. On these days, the camp provides lunch and supper. Volunteers are welcome to spend the night and enjoy breakfast and a church service the follow morning. The church service will be hosted by Kingwood Church of God.
Work days at Camp Sonrise not only help us keep the camp in good working order, but it also provides some terrific fellowship. God gave us a wonderful place to come serve and worship Him. Take a minute to look around at His beauty while you're here. There is always many things to do. Cut wood, paint ,clean up all over inside and out. More details on the kind of work as it gets closer the day.
Thanks to everyone that has been here in the past work days. May God Bless you for your support and prayers. This place has touched and changed many lives. If you can't make the scheduled work days and still want to help, call the camp director who's happy to coordinate a special time with you or your group.
